Thankfully Gustavus was on Spring Break when the tornado hit or else the injuries and fatalities would have been huge. When students go on Spring Break, if they leave their cars behind, they are to park them in certain parking lots so that main lots can be cleaned. When I went back a year later, GAC was on break again and so I was able to take these two contrasting pictures. On a regular day, this lot is not as filled as it is in the picture. I am not sure what the white building in the background is, but it was built after the tornado.
